Situated at the foot of Skiddaw and on the shores of Bassenthwaite Lake, Calvert Trust Lake District provides challenging and outdoor adventure courses for people with disabilities.
The first of the Calvert Trust Centres, Calvert Trust Lake District works with all guests to enable them to achieve their potential through the challenge of outdoor adventure in the countryside.
A wide range of activities is available both on-site and in the wonderful surrounding countryside and these include:

You can choose from:
- Multi activity courses for groups, families or individuals where you have a go at all activities
- Specialist courses, where you can improve your skills in one activity.
Our accommodation is fully accessible and based in a converted Cumbrian farmhouse below Skiddaw. Comfortable twin or family rooms with ensuite facilities are available.
The centre's facilities are accessible and include heated indoor swimming pool with sauna, games room, sports hall, TV lounge, library and a laundry and drying room.
