Jon Cowley, Activities Manager at Calvert Trust Exmoor, “The activities team are really excited about the possibilities our new Low Ropes course offers, we hope our guests are going to both enjoy it and get a lot out of it. We would particularly like to thank Vertigo Pursuits for their excellent work in constructing the course, and The Garfield Weston Foundation for their generous grant. This project would never have happened without their support.”

Postmans Walk

The Low Ropes Course forms part of a series of improvements taking place at Calvert Trust Exmoor throughout 2013, which include upgrading the indoor riding arena with a new floor & watering system, and the purchase of a golf buggy style wheelchair-friendly shuttle to assist with transport around the site. This year will also see the construction of a high needs wet room facility equipped with ceiling track hoist and the construction of wheelchair charging room, capable of simultaneously charging up to 12 electric wheelchairs.
