CEO's 25th Anniversary

Young Peter Cockerill25 years ago, a young enthusiastic man took up the reins at Calvert Trust Kielder.

Peter's Special Celebration Lunch at the Centre

Peter Cockerill CEO, celebrated his 25th Anniversary with guests and staff at a low key lunch in the centre.  In true Peter style, he attributed the success of the centre to staff and guests, who, he said “had been responsible for all the progress at the centre and for allowing him and his family to have a wonderful life in a beautiful part of the country."

Peter cutting his cake

During Peter’s stewardship, ‘The Kielder Adventure Centre’ now Calvert Trust Kielder, became the only Respite Care facility in the country to offer outdoor activities; 10 self-catering chalets were established and recently The Straker, a luxury addition to our self-catering accommodation, was opened; and more importantly, with Peter’s guidance over 120,000 guests have benefited from an active and adventurous short break at the centre.

Congratulations Peter, we look forward to the next 25 years.  Calvert Trust Kielder guests and staff.
