Pictured are:

  • Mark, Kevin, Elaine, Victoria, Janice and Mark; six members of Calvert Trust Exmoor staff with over 84 years service between them!
  • Tony Potter, Chief Executive of Calvert Trust Exmoor
  • Dr Tom Bigge, current Chair of Trustees for Calvert Trust Exmoor
  • Lady Acland, the most recent Chair of Trustees at Exmoor and current President of The Calvert Trust
  • Sir Michael Knight, Chair of Trustees at Calvert Trust Exmoor prior to Lady Acland
  • Jeremy Holtom, our longest serving trustee who joined Calvert Trust Exmoor before the centre opened in 1996

The long serving staff work in a range of departments across Calvert Trust Exmoor, including Activities, Maintenance, Domestics and Catering. All 6 were presented with long service awards by Lady Acland and Dr Tom Bigge, on behalf of the Trustees of Calvert Trust Exmoor.

The inaugural John Fryer Spedding Award was also presented at the celebration. The award is named after John Fryer Spedding, founder of The Calvert Trust, who recently retired as President. The award recognises staff members who have ''gone the extra mile", and this year was awarded to Matthew Pearce from the domestic team, who has done several things to support Calvert Trust Exmoor this year, not least a 15,000ft tandem skydive!
