Equality North East Awards Support Kielder

Calvert Trust Kielder is delighted to announce that they have been chosen as the beneficiary for the Equality North East Awards dinner later on in the year.

Equality North East Awards

The awards, which are now open for applications are celebrating 11 years of outstanding equality and diversity practices across the public, private and not for profit sectors.

Andrea Johnson, Equality North East Awards said:

"This year we have seen unparalleled success by Team GB at the Winter Paralympics in Sochi and the success that any individual can accomplish given the right opportunities.

It is important to recognise the achievements of local organisations, individuals and groups in embedding equality and diversity in day to day working practices leading the way to a fairer future for all."

Details on how to make an application for the awards can be found online.

The winners will be announced at the Awards dinner scheduled to take place at the Gosforth Marriott Hotel on Friday 17 October.

Attendees will be able to support the Trust by taking part in a raffle with a chance to win a short stay in a luxury 5-star self-catering chalet at the centre in Kielder Water & Forest Park.

Hazel Ditchburn, Calvert Trust Kielder said:

"This is a fantastic opportunity for us to raise vital funds for Calvert Trust Kielder and we are looking forward to sharing the successes of individuals and organisations from across the region."
