Yeo Valley has teamed up with Rock Solid Race to create Yeo Valley Rock Stars; a kid’s obstacle race running alongside the Rock Solid Race at Escot Park Exeter, 21st March 2015. Yeo Valley has a long standing relationship with Calvert Trust Exmoor having supported them in various ways since 2005.

Rob Lott, Head of Communications at Calvert Trust Exmoor; We were delighted when Yeo Valley approached us to ask if we would like to be part of Yeo Valley Rock Stars. It’s a great opportunity to have a lot of fun, get very muddy, and help people with disabilities to access our services at the same time.”

The Yeo Valley Rock Stars race runs over a carefully constructed mini obstacle course of about 1km in length, with obstacles like entanglement, net scrambles, tunnels, straw pyramids and, of course, plenty of mud! The event is split into two age groups: 5–7 year olds and 8–13 year olds, and several races for each age group will be run through the day, so there are plenty of opportunities to get involved.

Calvert Trust Exmoor are offering some special prizes for participants too; the chance for a child plus one adult to spend the whole day at Calvert Trust Exmoor enjoying several adventurous activities.

There are four prizes available, for:

1)            The 5-7 year old category race winner

2)            The 9-12 year old category race winner

3)            The child (from either age group) who fundraises the most money

4)            The child with the muddiest photo at the end of their run!

Rock Stars costs £17 per runner before 31st Jan 2015, and £21 after that date.
