Amazing Cyclists Ride 365 Miles to Support Exmoor

We would like to say a gigantic THANK YOU to the fantastic, amazing, wonderful cyclists who have just completed 315 miles through 5 countries in 5 days, supporting Calvert Trust Exmoor!

The intrepid group set off from Luxembourg, dropped briefly into France before crossing back into Luxembourg and following the Luxembourg/Germany border north, crossing several times between the two countries along a beautiful cycle path beside the river Moselle.

At Luxembourg's northern border the group crossed into Belgium, passing through Malmedy and Liege and on northwards into Holland with a visit to Maastricht

Heading west out of Maastricht the peleton crossed back in to Belgium, continuing westward to the town of Mechelen. For the final leg of the journey the group headed south, completing the marathon ride at the Royal Palace of Brussels.

This fantastic effort has raised somewhere in the region of £12,500 for Calvert Trust Exmoor, with the final total yet to be confirmed as money is still coming in. In fact it's not too late for you to sponsor them too!:

You can see more photos of their amazing exploits on our European Cycle Pinterest board.

We would also like to say a huge thanks to the Mitchell and Butlers group particularly Browns Restaurants, Miller and Carter Steakhouses and All Bar One for their support, Badger Van Hire for providing the support vehicle, and Brand it Clothing for the brilliant cycle clothing.
