Snows Timber 'Do Good with Decking' campaign delivers to Exmoor

Throughout the summer season Snows Timber have been running a 'Do Good with Decking' campaign, in aid of Calvert Trust Exmoor.

For every 40m3 of Snowdeck sold in 2015, Snows would donate one length of anti-slip decking to Calvert Trust Exmoor.

Thanks to the efforts of Snows sales team and customers, earlier this week 234 lengths of anti-slip decking were delivered to Calvert Trust Exmoor, that's around 980 meters of decking, or about the same length as 9 football pitches!

Pictured receiving the delivery are (L-R) Tom Stanton (Snows Timber), Jon Cawley (Calvert Trust Exmoor's Activity Manager) and Tony Potter (CEO of Calvert Trust Exmoor).

Tony Potter; “We are honored that Snows have chosen to support us with this fantastic donation. We plan to use the decking to improve wheelchair access to our forest and bushcraft area, which will be a fantastic addition and a great benefit to all of our guests.”

Mark Bowers, Commercial Director at Snows Timber, said:  “We’d like to thank all our customers for helping us to do good with decking this year.  It’s been a joint effort; the more SnowDek customers have bought this spring and summer, the more anti-slip decking we’ve been able to put aside for Calvert Trust Exmoor.  The season isn’t entirely finished yet, so we’ll aim to do more if we can.”
