On Sunday 6 December at Hilton Newcastle Gateshead, Calvert Trust Kielder hosted their annual Christmas Family Festival. With over 30 stalls selling different items from jewellery to candles to homemade teddy bears there was something for everyone. Your Metro Radio and Calvert Trust Kielder were proud to present several entertainers including the Snow Princesses from Let It Snow Productions and the In Harmony Orchestra. The In Harmony Orchestra is a project set up to enable primary school children to improve their life chances, social skills and educational attainment through learning to play an orchestral instrument .

"We are thrilled with this event and the money raised. Everyone enjoyed the day, browsing the stalls and discovering Christmas stocking gifts, listening to the music and having their photograph taken with Father Christmas. All in all, a great day."
