The Virgin Money London Marathon has made a record breaking £25 million through its Virgin Money page. Currently Team Calvert have raised over £20,000, with more fundraising due to  arrive in the following weeks. This huge amount will help all three Calvert Trust sites, Kielder, Exmoor and Keswick continue to challenge Disability through outdoor activities.

Johane Ferrett, (Pictured) became aware of Calvert Trust through her role as a carer. Speaking of the marathon and Calvert Trust she said

I am so happy to be fundraising for this charity, I have been to Calvert Trust several times and to see their work and how they have helped Neil is amazing. All the way around the course, whenever I struggled I just kept thinking of him and what he achieves everyday, he kept me going.

Jo and her sister have successful raised over £3,000 for the Calvert Trust through their marathon achievement.

We would like to say a HUGE Thank you to all our runners, who pushed themselves beyond their limits to complete the marathon. We would also like to say thank you to the support group at mile 19 that loudly and proudly cheered on all particpants!
