West Buckland School pupils support Calvert Trust Exmoor

The pupils of West Buckland School chose to support Calvert Trust Exmoor as their charity of the 2015/16 academic year. During the year pupils at the school raised money through a range of activities including collections at concerts, cake baking, and casual dress days.



In total pupils raised £1,409:38 for the work of Calvert Trust Exmoor, a fantastic effort. the donation was handed over by the school’s fundraising committee to Robin Nicoll, Head of Fundraising at Calvert Trust Exmoor in a ceremony on 27 June at the school.


The money will be go towards horse riding at Calvert Trust Exmoor.


After the presentation Robin commented; “We're really grateful to the pupils and staff at West Buckland School for all of their fundraising efforts, and to the fundraising committee for choosing us as their charity for this year. This donation will help our guests to enjoy horse riding and carriage driving."
