Anthony Walker Raises £2,800 Cycling from London to Paris for Calvert Trust Kielder.

 Anthony Walker London to Paris Bike ride for Calvert trust Kielder

Anthony Walker took on a massive 3 day bike ride to help raise money for Calvert Trust Kielder.The keen cyclist rode 90 miles on Day 1, leaving from Croydon and following the Pilgrims Way to Dover. Day 2, saw the riders leave Calais and cycle 80 miles through several First World War towns and along part of the Somme. Day 3, saw the riders’ cycle the last 70 miles to Paris, stopping traffic as they cycled up the Champ de Elysees.

Anthony said of his challenge ‘The ride was hard but fun’. Charlotte Gaunt, Fundraiser at the Calvert Trust Kielder said ‘We are so happy that Anthony succeeded in his challenge , he has been a pleasure to work with and we are thrilled with his fundraising success’. The Funds raised by Anthony will help Calvert Trust Kielder continue to ‘Challenge Disability through outdoor activities’.


Anthony arranged his cycle ride through Calvert Trust Kielder and Global Adventure Challenges.
