Learning in the Lakes with St Vincent’s School

The Liverpool Echo newspaper has written a piece about St. Vincent’s School's recent successful visit to the Lake District Calvert Trust.

You can read the story by clicking here.

St Vincent's is a Special Educational Needs (SEN) school catering for children with sensory impairments and other needs, with pupils ranging from Year 1 up to Year 14. In mid-March a group of 8 pupils and St Vincent's staff visited our centre for their annual ‘learning outside the classroom’ residential trip.

We thought we'd share the Echo's piece which talks about their experiences and the benefits of learning outside the classroom for children with special educational needs.
