Many people with disabilities have difficulty accessing the countryside, and so rarely have the opportunity to try bushcraft experiences.
Calvert Trust Exmoor have developed an area of accessible woodland, with an accessible tepee shelter, to allow our guests the opportunity to try out bushcraft skills.
Bushcraft activities we offer include: Fire lighting, storytelling, woodland crafts, open fire cooking, nightline, and shelter building.
We also have an outdoor classroom in our bushcraft zone, fully equipped with solar lighting and a soft zone.
This range of activities covers a spectrum of development from cognitive skills to sensory experiences, offering something for everyone.
