The Jumbulance Trust is a travel charity that exists to make it possible for severely disabled and unwell adults, children and dependent elderly persons to travel on holidays and day outings, using purpose-built coach ambulances with platform lifts, stretcher trolley beds, reclining seats, accessible wash rooms, ample storage for wheelchairs and luggage and comprehensive emergency medical equipment including defibrillator, suction and resuscitation units, oxygen and mobile hoists. Compass Disability Services - A Somerset based organisation whose mission is to enable disabled people and carers to have equality of opportunity.  Compass is a user led organisation and the Board of Trustees is comprised of at least 80% disabled people.  Calvert Trust Exmoor is an associate member of Compass Disability Services, and in particular we support their ‘Disability Somerset’ annual exhibition.

 

Bruce Wake Trust - As well as supporting Calvert Trust Exmoor with funds to use as bursaries,  helping guests who require financial assistance to be able to have a break at Calvert Trust Exmoor, the Bruce Wake Trust also offer wheelchair accessible boat holidays on three specially designed boats. WAV Compare is a website which allows users to find and compare new and used Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles. They also run a directory and feature Calvert Trust Exmoor in their Activity Holidays section.

 

Discover Wistlandpound- Discover Wistlandpound is a partnership between Calvert Trust Exmoor, the Forestry Commission and South West Lakes Trust, with the aim of enabling people of all abilities to have open access to the trails and visitor facilities, and be able to discover and enjoy Wistlandpound.

 

Edds Greengrocers- a very famous name in the North Devon area, Edds are a long established (4 generations in the same family!) supplier of local fruit and vegetables. As part of our ongoing drive to reduce our carbon footprint, CTE look to source locally wherever possible, and have been getting our fruit and vegetables from Edds for the last 6 years.

 

Exmoor National Park- Calvert Trust Exmoor is located in an area of outstanding beauty on the edge of Exmoor National Park, offering 267 square miles of stunning wilderness landscapes and tranquillity.

 

Exmoor Zoo- Located just 2 miles from Calvert Trust, Exmoor Zoo is different, neither a wildlife park or a city zoo, but a more friendly and contact orientated zoo which has grown into the North Devon countryside. Exmoor Zoo works in partnership with CTE, regularly bringing their animals to us for interactive animal experiences.

 

Share Music South West - Share Music South West (SMSW) aim to create opportunities for disabled people, generally with physical and/or sensory impairments or learning difficulties, to take part in workshops to create and perform original music and music theatre. SMSW regularly collaborate with CTE, bringing their unique workshop experience to our visitors.

 

Pathfield School - Pathfield School is a maintained school for pupils aged between 3 and 19 years in Barnstaple, and has for a number of years worked closely with Calvert Trust Exmoor on various projects, including regularly bringing disabled pupils to visit us for holidays, and collaborating on green initiatives.

Stowford Farm Meadows - Our local caravan and camping site, family friendly and just a few minutes drive from our centre.

 

The White Horse Inn- Calvert Trust Exmoor (CTE) are delighted to have been chosen by The White Horse Inn, Exford as their Charity of the Year for several years. This traditional 16th Century inn with classic period features has been family owned and run for generations.

 

The Old Rectory Hotel - A relaxed and award winning boutique hotel in Martinhoe, Exmoor.

 

Kentisbury Grange - The closest hotel to our centre, a fine Victorian country house hotel which is an inspiring blend of glamour, history, nature and indulgence.

 

Stags Head Farm - A dog friendly grade II listed B&B in Dulverton, Exmoor.
