Carers Breaks at Calvert Trust Exmoor

At Calvert Trust Exmoor we recognise the amazing work that many Carers do, and we realise that from time to time we all need a break, to relax, recharge, and come back raring to go!

 

With that in mind, through out the year we organise a number of carers breaks, where carers can take a break from their day to day responsibilities, and enjoy themselves, in a supportive environment in an area of outstanding natural beauty.

 

Young Carers Weekends

These fantastic special weekends are specifically for young people who have caring responsibilities, and our centre is dedicated solely to carers for these breaks.

These weekends include 3 adventurous activities, 2 nights accommodation, a disco, and all meals.

 

Friday 16th November to Sunday 18th November 2012

 

£150 per young carer, £75 per adult supervisor.

Group special offer; Pay for 10 young carers, get 2 adult places free.

 

If you are a group or organisation that works with young carers and you would like to bring counsellors or support workers along to offer sessions with the carers, we are able to provide break out rooms at no extra cost.

 

Young carers age range; 7 to 16.

Young Adult Carers Breaks

Similar to our young carers breaks, but focused on an older age range, 16 to 25.

These weekends include 3 adventurous activities, 2 nights accommodation, evening entertainment, and all meals.

 

Dates to be confirmed - why not register your interest with us & you can help us choose a date that suits you!

£150 per carer.

Group special offer; Pay for 10, get 2 places free.

 

Over 18's are welcome on these breaks without supervision, but we also welcome groups and organisations that want to bring support workers. If you are a group or organisation that works with carers and you would like to bring counsellors or support workers along to offer sessions with the carers, we are able to provide break out rooms at no extra cost.
