Parkinson's Activity Weekend

Calvert Trust Exmoor is delighted to be working in partnership with Parkinson’s UK to offer an activity weekend specifically designed to enable people with Parkinson’s, and their family and friends, to experience exciting, challenging and enjoyable outdoor activities.

 

This fully catered special weekend includes accommodation, a structured programme of activities and evening entertainment.  Also included are tips on life skills for living with Parkinson’s and help on finding ways to participate in active sports in your local area, all for just £275 per person.

Horse Experience Weekends

We had a fantastic response to our Horse Experience weekends which were new for 2011, so we are running them again in 2012! 

These experience weekends are in particular ideal for families where one (or more) family member has a disability. These experience breaks include activities such as horse riding and carriage driving, working with horses, stable management, and natural horsemanship, in a fun, safe environment.

The dates for these fantastic tailored breaks are;

Friday 4^th to Monday 7^th May 2012 - Autism /ASD Horse Experience Weekend; Only one space left!

Friday 20^th to Monday 23^th July 2012.

Friday 12^th to Monday 15^th October 2012 - Physically Disabled Horse Experience Weekend.

Friday 9^th to Monday 12^th November 2012.

 

all of these weekends we are offering at the special price of £260 for the weekend (3 nights), fully catered, in our accessible accommodation.

 

Special Christmas Weekends

7th -10th or 14th - 17th December 2012

Why not come and join us for our special Christmas celebrations here at Calvert Trust Exmoor.

 

These special weekends include mulled wine & mince pies on arrival, a Christmas disco, traditional Christmas dinner, a visit from Father Christmas with a gift, and a Christmas quiz night.

 

The break also includes 3 nights fully catered, in our accessible accommodation, and 2 full days of activities, only £155 per person!

 

Making Music Workshop

Monday 21st - Thursday 24th January 2013

Our first themed break of 2013, the making music workshop, run in conjunction with Share Music, (http://www.sharemusicsouthwest.org)  is a fantastic opportunity to participate in making music with a wide variety of instruments, culminating in a performance on the final day (at which family & friends are welcome to attend).

 

This break includes 3 nights in our fully accessible accommodation, 2 days of music workshops, 1 day of activities, and all meals, for just £150 per person - over 18s only.
