Wheelchair Charging Room

Are you an Electric Wheelchair user?.

Recent changes to fire safety regulations mean that we can't let you charge your wheelchair overnight in your bedroom while you sleep, but don't worry, we've got you covered!

we now have a fabulous Wheelchair Charging Room, in the main courtyard next door to the High Needs Wet Room. The Wheelchair Charging Room is a large room equipped with numerous plug sockets, allowing many wheelchairs to be charged at the same time.

If you need help finding or accessing the Wheelchair Charging Room please ask a member of Calvert Trust Exmoor staff, or come to Reception where the receptionists will be pleased to help you.

We aim to make every facility at Calvert Trust Exmoor accessible to everyone. To find out more about our accessibility please have a look at our accessiblity statement, and if you have any feedback how we might make our facilities more accessible for your needs please contact us on, 01598 763221, or by post to our postal address

"To see Alex, an all the time wheelchair user go abseiling, and on the zip wire, dangling on the crate stacking and more, was amazing. Alex was very happy with his achievements an had a great time. I was even more proud of him for showing us that we can do it too. We all did activities that pushed us beyond our comfort zones. A BIG "Thank You" for making a real adventure holiday accessible to my son and others like him."
