Learn More About Yourself @Kielder

Learning • Adventure • Experience • Confidence

We want your students to really love life, to delight in new experiences and to gain reward from being challenged.

Our innovative programmes encourage your students to learn more about themselves, to develop essential leadership skills and to help prepare them for a fulfilling career after college or university.

The Calvert Trust Kielder experience takes your students out of their comfort zone which is vital when they start pursuing a career in unfamiliar surroundings with unfamiliar people.

Your students learn how to interact with people of all abilities, an important lesson in self-awareness and a necessary skill when building relationships in business.

Your students will gain an understanding of Corporate Social Responsibility in the business community.

Challenge your students to reach the top of the Climbing Wall, work as a team to conquer the 15 metre High Ropes Course or hit the target in Laser Clay Shooting.

Our facilities are exceptional, our instructors first class and our reputation second to none.

Explore and Learn @Kielder

Situated in the breathtaking Kielder Water & Forest Park, home to the largest man-made lake in Europe, we offer the perfect base for students to explore and learn.

As one of the UK’s most beautiful areas, this location offers 27 glorious miles of shoreline, a magical environment full of wildlife and flora, fresh, clean air and magnificent expansive horizons – plenty to fuel the imagination!

Local facilities and activities in the surrounding area include the multi-user Lakeside Way, Kielder mountain bike trails, forest walks and historical sites in Northumberland, Cumbria and the Scottish Borders.

The park holds International Dark Sky status and is home to the award-winning Kielder Observatory, where students can learn about the universe and experience the darkest skies in England.

We are fully flexible and adaptable when accommodating groups of students.
