Challenging Disability Through Outdoor Adventure

Get Kids Active @Kielder

Learning • Adventure • Experience • Confidence

School residential and day visits for children of all abilities in the stunning Kielder Water & Forest Park.

We want children to really love life, to delight in new experiences and to gain reward from being challenged.

Our innovative programmes encourage children to learn more about themselves and gain confidence through challenging and adventurous activities.

Learning doesn’t just happen in the classroom. With over 30 years of providing excellent, tailor-made, outdoor multi-activity experiences, we have developed a unique knowledge base, enabling us to offer safe, enjoyable and educational activities to children of all abilities from specialist and mainstream schools.

Whether it’s a day activity or residential course, we aim to provide the best experience for everyone, and with our skilled and professional instructors, no matter which activity you try – it’s guaranteed to be safe, educational and plenty of fun – allowing for shared experiences and cohesion to be taken back to the classroom.

Challenge children to reach the top of our Climbing Wall, work as a team to conquer our 15 metre High Ropes Course or hit the target on our Archery range.

"I don't think the children had any idea of how good it was going to be.  It certainly exceeded my expectations."

Monica McDonnell - Class Teacher at Kelbourne School

"Our pupils were encouraged to challenge themselves and try activities they would not have dreamt possible.  The sense of achievement from the group was palpable but beyond measure and will contribute to the self-esteem of the boys for a long time."
