Kielder Water & Forest Park
Kielder Water & Forest Park is home to the biggest man-made lake in northern Europe and the biggest working forest in England. It covers 250 square miles, so if you haven't been before, it's best to pop into one of the three main visitor centres (Tower Knowe, Leaplish and Kielder Castle) to orientate yourself.
Kielder Water Birds of Prey Centre
The Birds Of Prey Centre is located at Leaplish Waterside Park. The Centre contains one of the largest and most fascinating collections of birds of prey in the North of England. You can discover a vast variety of species, learn about the captive breeding programme, and experience the thrill & excitement of handling some of these beautiful and extraordinary birds.

Bellingham Village
Bellingham Village is situated on the border of the Northumbrian National Park and has one of the top ten walks in England – Hareshaw Linn. With a wealth of facilities from food to walking boots, the village also boasts a visitor centre and an 18 hole golf course.

Hadrians Wall
Britain’s greatest Roman monument, Hadrian’s Wall World Heritage Site runs for 150 miles from Arbeia at South Shields to Ravenglass on the Cumbrian coast. You can visit a string of amazing forts and museums that stretch across the north of England, with the Wall itself visible at some major sites (such as Birdoswald) and at many other places in-between.
Hexham
Hexham is an historic, bustling town in the heart of the Tyne Valley, named as England's favourite market town by Country Life magazine. There's so much to see and do – Hexham Abbey, the 14th century Hexham Old Gaol, the award-winning Queen's Hall Arts Centre as well as a wealth of antique and curio shops.
Purple Mountain
Purple Mountain Bike Centre can provide all the services you need to enjoy your visit to Kielder Forest. With hire, spares, repairs, advice, a shop full of goodies, and a great local knowledge. The Purple Mountain hire centre is based near Kielder Castle, at the Northern end of Kielder Water.
Trike Tours
North of England Trike Tours offers a totally unique and fun way to see Northern England.
