The Lake District Calvert Trust is a residential outdoor centre with 40 years’ experience delivering challenging outdoor adventure holidays for people with disabilities.

On the shores of Bassenthwaite Lake, in the heart of the Lake District National Park, our centre offers a warm welcome; accessible accommodation and exciting breaks for schools, groups, families and individuals with their friends and carers.

We are accessible to people of all ages with sensory, learning or physical disabilities, including those with the most complex needs for which most outdoor centres cannot cater.

Fashion Show Raffle Raises Funds and Christmas Spirit for LDCT

The Skiddaw Hotel in Keswick held their winter fashion show on Friday 14th November in the Greta Suite. The event was sold out with 56 ladies taking their seats to enjoy a delicious late evening afternoon tea and show featuring designs from White Stuff, Joules, Fat Face & Alexandra’s of Keswick.

 

 

The evening was full of inspiration and ideas for winter clothing as well as the perfect Christmas gift. Raffle tickets were sold throughout the night by Jennifer Scott, raising a total of £252.00 for the Lake District Calvert Trust, with a generous donation from White Stuff. The raffle included vouchers from the Skiddaw Hotel, Treeby & Bolton, Joules and Lake District Calvert Trust, as well as great prizes from Keswick Boot Company, Keswick Mountain Sport, Viewpoint Gallery and much more!

 

 

Jennifer Scott from Lake District Calvert Trust said: “What a fantastic event! A brilliant opportunity to see the fabulous seasonal ranges on offer in Keswick while raising awareness about the Lake District Calvert Trust. A huge thank you to the Skiddaw Hotel, White Stuff, Fat Face, Joules & Alexandra’s for arranging the event and organising a raffle which raised an impressive £252 for the Calvert Trust. The Calvert Trust would like thank the guests at the event for their support & the generous donations of prizes from many local businesses.”
