We are accessible to people of all ages with sensory, learning or physical disabilities, including those with the most complex needs for which most outdoor centres cannot cater.

Progression Solicitors Launch New Campaign to Raise Funds for LDCT

When we first met Anthony Smith (Director) and Janett Walker (Associate Solicitor) of Progression Solicitors, I don’t think we banked on having quite so much support and certainly not as much fun!

With offices in Ulverston and Windermere (and soon to be opening in Grange), Progression Solicitors offer a wide range of legal services. For private clients this includes; wills, elderly client advice, trusts, family law and buying and selling your home. For commercial clients it includes; leases, buying and selling businesses, property development, employment and civil disputes. These and many other services emanate from a wealth of highly experienced, very friendly and down to earth solicitors.

There is no doubt that Progression Solicitors support the Cumbrian community and we are proud to say that this includes the Lake District Calvert Trust.

They are currently launching their ‘Pay Per Sip’ campaign - another ingenious way the company have thought up of raising valuable funds for LDCT. The campaign is set to run through until May 15th: to take part, head down to the Country Hut in Bowness from tomorrow and treat yourself and a friend to a 'Progression Cappuccino' – for every special coffee sold, Progression will donate 20p to LDCT! So get sipping!

As sponsors of the Low Wood No Wood Cardboard Boat Race held annually on Lake Windermere at the Low Wood Bay Marina, Progression Solicitors not only raise funds for the event of which we are the beneficiary but they also turn their hand to boat building and take to the water!

There are many ways in which corporate businesses can support us and Progression certainly bite the bullet:

  • Introducing us to new supporters
  • Assisting with our legacy work
  • Joining us at the annual charity ball
  • Organising raffles
  • Most recently we’re delighted to announce that they are sponsoring our catamaran Equal Chance, located on Windermere!

Anthony even hopes to raise funds for us by entering the Great North Run and enduring the 13 mile half marathon. He told us “Calvert Trust is a fantastic organisation providing a service their clientele can rarely access elsewhere. We visited their premises recently and it is clear that they are held in extremely high regard and rightly so. As a firm it is important to us to support the local communities in the areas from which we operate and give something back to them whenever and however we can”.

Keep up the fabulous work Progression, there’s more fun to be had whilst supporting a local charity and we can’t wait to see this year’s cardboard boat!
