Outreach & Expeditions

The Outreach Programme

The Lake District Calvert Trust Outreach Programme has been established to increase the provision of outdoor activities for people with disabilities thoughout the UK. 

As part of our project we can:

• Offer direct support to people with disabilities, schools, colleges or social groups wanting to participate in outdoor activities in their local area.
• Provide access to specialist equipment and resources to enable projects to take place (subject to availability)
• Deliver training to local outdoor providers who can deliver inclusive activities.

Expeditions

For those groups who wish to pursue a single activity more fully, develop their skills and expand their experiences in the activity, we can offer a range of expeditions within the UK and abroad. For more information contact the Centre.
