Would you like to take on an exciting challenge and raise money for Calvert Trust Exmoor at the same time?  

This page includes some suggestions of challenges you might like to have a go at, both in the UK and further afield. 2017 Challenges


London Marathon - Sunday 23rd April

8 intrepid runners will be running ion the London Marathon and will be raising funds for Calvert Trust Exmoor.  We wish them luck band trust they have a safe run without any injuries.  But pain there will be!.  We are really grateful for this support.


"Eat Dirt on Exmoor" Mountain Bike Event, Dulverton; Sunday 30th April 2017

A group of Exmoor Mountain Bike enthusiasts and Calvert Trust Exmoor have joined forces to hold a Mountain Bike Event on the day before May Bank Holiday, 30th April 2017. The route starts and ends in the picturesque Exmoor town of Dulverton and runs for 23 miles.  There is a short cut home after 15 miles!

The route will pass through the stunning scenery around the River Barle up to the ancient stone clapper bridge at Tarr Steps. From there the route will climb up to the moorland from where far reaching views can be seen in all directions. Riders have a unique opportunity to pass over land that is not open to the general public.

The entry fee is £21, of which £20 goes to Calvert Trust Exmoor and £1 goes to British Cycling. To enter please go to 


Atlas Mountain Bike Adventure, Morocco; Saturday 3rd - Saturday 10th Jun 2017

Morocco’s High Atlas Mountains offer a spectacular setting for this cycling challenge. Beginning in bustling Marrakesh, the route travels 200km over dirt roads and steep inclines into the heart of this remote and culturally detached region. The challenge takes place amid the Mgoun Massif, traditional home of the Berber people.
