Challenging Disability Through Outdoor Adventure

Leave a Gift

Leaving a gift in your Will is a great way you can leave a lasting legacy of support to Calvert Trust Exmoor and we are always touched by the generosity of people who leave something to us.

A gift in your Will does not have to be a large amount – any donation is gratefully received and will make a huge difference, allowing the Centre to continue assisting and enabling people with disabilities to enjoy adventurous activities.

If you would like to leave a gift to Calvert Trust Exmoor, here are some key things to remember:

Include our full name:

Please detail that you are leaving your gift to ‘Calvert Trust Exmoor, Registered Charity Number in England and Wales (1005776)’. Without being specific your gift might not reach us.

Make the most of your gift:

Generally a residuary gift (a gift of a percentage of your estate) will allow for the largest contribution to Calvert Trust Exmoor – as it will keep its value better than a gift of a fixed sum of money. It is also a great way to provide for a cause close to your heart after your friends and family have been looked after.

Please let us know:

You don’t have to notify Calvert Trust Exmoor of your choice to leave such a gift. But it does mean we can thank you and keep you updated with our work.

We strongly advise you to contact a solicitor if you are considering leaving us a gift in your will. A solicitor will be able to advise you on everything you need to consider and can ensure your intentions are clear.

"Just walked in the door after THE best weekend at the Calvert Trust. If we ever need to go to our 'happy place' we go to the Calvert. Rory loved it all and so did I. The spirit of the Calvert: Everyone welcome ....always"
