James completes his 200 mile Challenge

James Cook, who is 70 and suffers from Parkinson’s disease, yesterday completed his 200 mile walk from Chittlehampton in Devon to Littlehampton on the Sussex coast.

James started walking on the 2nd of September, (follow this link to see the story), and has walked about 10 miles a day, every day, since then.

James has been walking in order raise funds for four charities that each have special meaning to him; Calvert Trust ExmoorABF The Soldiers’ CharityParkinson’s UK and Friends of St Hieritha’s Chittlehampton, and so far has raised over £15,000 to be split equally between the for charities.
