Intrepid Adventurer Visits Calvert Trust Exmoor

Calvert Trust Exmoor has today played host to Neil Laughton, pilot, adventurer and expedition leader.

Neil is a member of the GH MUMM Cordon Rouge Club having organised and led expeditions on 7 Continents, completed the Explorers Grand Slam, circumnavigated the UK on a jet ski and piloted a flying car across the Sahara Desert.

The GH MUMM Cordon Rouge Club is an invitation only club of 26 members, made up of the UK's most inspiring living adventurers.  Inspired by G.H. MUMM enthusiast Jean-Baptiste Charcot’s famous polar expedition of 1904, G.H. MUMM created The Cordon Rouge Club to recognise exceptionally fearless and inspiring people in the fields of sailing, adventure and discovery.

Neil gave an inspirational talk entitled “Who Dares Wins” to the invited audience, which included children and staff from Pathfields School Barnstaple as well as Calvert Trust Exmoor staff and trustees.
